who shared her house with those deprived
of a decent place to live,
we, Sisters of Mercy of Erie,
affirm each person's right to secure,
affordable housing.
Having made a particular commitment
to the elderly,
we recognize that older people have
spritual, social, physical and psychological needs
which must be met,
if they are to live out their lives
in dignity, pride and comfort.
We dedicate ourselves to meeting these needs
in their housing
and immediate environment
at a cost within their budget. |
