Mercy Terrace Apartments is located west of the Sisters of Mercy Motherhouse and Mercy Center on Aging at 430 East Grandview Blvd. The Sisters of Mercy of Erie founded Mercy Terrace Apartments in 1987 as a non-profit organization to provide modern independent living accomodations for senior citizens. Mercy Terrace Apartments is a three and one-half story building consisting of 64 units: 52 one-bedroom apartments(four designed for handicapped) and 12 two-bedroom apartments. Residents may enjoy the services and activities offered by the Mercy Center on Aging, the Sisters of Mercy Motherhouse, Mercy Center of the Arts, Mercyhurst Prepatory School, and Mercyhurst College all of which are within a short walking distance of Mercy Terrace.
